What if one day, we can only see them - the Delacour’s Langurs leaping in “old day videos” like this? Join with FFI before it is too late in the conservation of the critically endangered species. One of the efforts is to set up a Species and Habitat Conservation Area in Kim Bảng, Hà Nam, Việt Nam! Thank you @Matthew Maran for this amazing clip.

All of us, both human beings and wildlife sometimes need a mom hug to make everything better, calm your soul, relax your mind or simply feel peaceful and protected. 💞 Primates 🐒 feel the same emotions we do and deserve similar rights. Photo: Cao Vit Gibbon 📷 Nguyễn Vân Trường/FFI Vietnam

Nice pic at the right moment as a red-shanked douc langur is leaping between trees.😉 This species is diurnal and arboreal. Groups sleep in large trees with thick canopies, but never in caves or crevices.😁 📷 Ryan Deboodt . . . #langur #redshankeddouc #primate #conservation #nature #protection #wildlife

A key part of FFI’s conservation activities include improving the livelihoods of local people in some of our project sites. For example, we have established Farmer Interest Groups where the locals can get an interest-free loan 💰 for their agricultural production development. The groups meet regularly to share their difficulties and find solutions. People living in protected area buffer zones play an important role in conservation. Part of our work is to try and reduce their dependence on forest resources, and help them to support the protection of nature. . . . #livelihoods #agriculture #locals #vietnam #TrungKhanh #conservation #habitat #primate

We #SeeTheRainforestFor... Earth Day is coming up and we want to show our support for the great work of Rainforest Trust – who also support FFI here in Vietnam to conserve Delacour’s langur! Every time you post on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram with the hashtag #SeeTheRainforestFor, an acre of rainforest will be saved! With a mission of protecting Vietnam's endemic and endangered primates, FFI believes we must conserve natural forests. These are life-giving resources vital for the survival of both wildlife and human beings.
