I've F*CKED UP! I'm burnt out. I'm stressed. I haven't managed to do what I set out to do. I've binged. I've been lazy. I'm guilty. I'm frustrated. I'm upset. I've failed. I may as well quit... ​. ​. ​This is the cycle a lot of people (myself included) can sometimes spiral towards. The goal is set but it's not going to plan. For one reason or another progress has stalled, derailed or it even feels like it's been reset. What happens now? . ​. It can be disheartening to experience setbacks or plateaus I'm not going to lie, but the question to ask yourself during difficult times is... WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT IT GOING FORWARD? Sit and feel sorry for yourself? Curse the world for shit "happening" to you, waiting for the stars to align? Allow depression, stress, anxiety and insecurity take ownership? Throw in the towel and suppress any desires to become the person you set out to be? ​. ​. You PREPARE to go AGAIN. Whether your fat loss has stalled, your strength has plateaued, your recovering from injury, you're experiencing financial difficulties, there are relationship complications in your life, whether you're depressed, anxious, frustrated or feel "stuck" in life... There is always a plan you can create and a mindset to adopt. . ​. However you feel. Whatever the circumstance. There's always a path to how you want to look, feel and do on a day to day. You can set a goal, create a structure, a way of reaching that goal and make actionable steps. If you feel you can't then there are people around you that can help. You can only move forward from where you are now. CHILL OUT! Resting and reflecting, taking a step back from the day to day is vital to both add perspective and to create periods for mini reviews... . ​. Are you making progress? Is what you are currently doing supporting you? Do you have your health? Are you creating and building a support network? Are you happy? Setbacks, barriers, however you label them will ALWAYS happen. How you respond to them is key. Through preparation, planning and potentially realigning goals slightly to meet your current situation, you'll continue to grow stronger and continue to make progress. ​. ​. #teambpt #burrowspt #mindset
