My life is complete! I’ve seen a massive turtle lay its egg on the beach 🐢🥚🙏🏼 Got up at 5.30 to catch a morning bus. I wake up to the sound of sand flicking around underneath the neighbouring little hut. And right there, a huge turtle is digging a hole for its babies. For the next 40 minutes I watch the turtle as it is laying its eggs, covering its tracks and returns back to the ocean. Nearly missed the bus, but that would’ve been all worth it.

I’ll tell you this, it’s not the easiest task climbing palm trees with a drone remote control in your hand 😅🌴

Lights flashing on the car behind me 🚨🚔 Oh no, I knew that I was speeding when I saw the police car driving towards me in the opposite direction, unfortunately the cops knew it too 🤦🏻‍♀️😅 I pull over and hand out my drivers license to the cute looking police officer. Who after a short chat about me leaving the county on Tuesday, lets me off without a ticket 🤩 Hallelujah, yet another reason why I love this place so much ☺️✌🏼

I’ve just got one week left in this paradise 😳 But I’m so excited for my next destination 🤩

How has it been two months already? 😳

I’ve returned my car and gone back to civilisation. Gym workouts and runs along the beach are on my agenda for the rest of the month ✌🏼

Last night the police came knocking on my door 👮🏻‍♂️I immediately thought I’d done something wrong, parked illegally or something 🤷🏻‍♀️ But they just wanted to check on me, see if everything was all right, and make sure I felt safe staying in my car. Another reason why I love this country 🙏🏼😍

I got a fair amount of scratches making my way through these bushes, running back and forth, activating the 10 second self timer on my camera. The struggle of solo travelling 😅✌🏼

Looking back at my past year of travels I see that I haven’t visited a single new country. All I’ve been doing is revisiting countries that I’ve already been to and either loved, which made me feel like I hadn’t seen enough of it, or hated and therefore wanted to give a second chance. Earlier on all that mattered to me was the country count, adding as many to the list as possible, and getting those perfect insta photos that would give me likes and recognition. Don’t get me wrong, I still take heaps of photos (as you can see 😂🙈) and I absolutely love the likes and acknowledgment that comes with it. But I travel with a different mindset now. I actually want to get to know people, I find learning about different cultures inspiring and surely also challenging at times. But that’s what make each destination unique, not the monuments, caves or waterfalls. Do you follow, or am I starting to sound like a crazy person who spent too much time in my own head? 🧘🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Traveling solo, surely means solo atm. Had these sand dunes all to myself 🧘🏻‍♀️

If there’s one thing I do not appreciate about living in my car with no access to warm showers on a daily basis. It’s all the freaking sand that I bring with me back to bed from my adventures 🤷🏻‍♀️😅

When did you last push the boundaries of your comfort zone?

Fresh air and good friends, having a picnic while watching the sunset. I’d choose this any day over a fancy restaurant 🧺🌾

No halloween party, alcohol or hangover. Simply just a great weekend full of fun in the sun, fresh food on the bbq and a swim in this stunning blue spring 🙏🏼💦

Bringing 4 days worth of food, on a 2 days trip, might be heavy. But running out of snacks would be fatal 😂

Share 68 5

You might all be sick of my hiking photos by now, but it’s literally all that I’m doing. So they’ll keep on coming, sorry guys🤷🏻‍♀️😅

A wonderful weekend walk with wholesome people, right @nicbrookas ☺️
