I'm currently at home because I'm contagious and in pain (who the @$&# gets the flu in summer even after getting the injection?? #fucklupus ) But I'm still smiling because i did pass my certification last week which allows me to actually go out and do my job, which i thought i was going to fail. I've been having some real self confidence issues lately and due to mine and Mats foody lifestyle have become a bit of a fatty 😕 so I really need to work on balancing that out while we try to have a baby again. After our visit to the specialist last friday which was due to miscarriage number 2 (haemotolist decided not to wait til miscarriage number 3 due to lupus), at least this time, we'll be closely monitored throughout the whole thing from conception to birth. #Throwback to that time we did a mummy daughter trip to #Paris #Disneyland in October 2017. Those close to me know 2016 and 2017 were very dark years for me but there was no way I was backing down on my promise to take her to disneyland for her 8th Birthday not to mention it was always a childhood dream of mine to go to Disneyland. If you want the childhood and life you were hoping for, then MAKE IT HAPPEN for your own child, instead of wishing it happened to you. You can redo your life in a positive way by impacting on them to be a much happier & smarter version of yourself. You don't want kids? That's ok! My body clock is a mess and finally my nose has stopped bleeding... apparently after my last check up I now suffer from blood clots... (thanks autoimmune disease) but they didn't trace cancer so I'll take this as a definate win... So now I'll be on asprin every day & then injections once I fall pregnant again to prevent blood clots while the baby is forming. Don't let your condition dictate how your life will be NOR let others tell you that you can't. Find a way to make it happen & ensure the people you have around you are actually supportive. I was already a fan of the snow egg which was a poached meringue with an ice cream centre on granita, & the Eight Textures of Chocolate cake which used to be found at #quayrestaurant back in the day 😭, so it's no surprise @chefpetergilmore did it again with this delicious #pavlova at #bennalongrestaurant which pays tribute to the #sydneyoperahouse ❤ #soulfood #instafood #instamood #dessert🍰

I loved my choices but Mat wasn't as impressed. I recommend the wild caught fish & the pavlova. Australia has some of the best cheese in the world & the cheese platter did not disappoint. 🌻 Bring sunshine to those you love 🌻 Spring's here which means the sun's back & even though seeing sunny days has an uplifting affect on our mood, this #spoonie will soon be avoiding it's rays... no I'm not a vampire 🧛‍♀️ but #Lupus certainly makes you feel that way. I unfortunately have unusual sensitivity to sunlight. This can trigger symptoms such as skin rashes, itching, & burning. Excess sun exposure can also cause flares, triggering symptoms such as joint pain, weakness, and fatigue. In some cases, it can even cause internal organ damage 💔. On the positive side I'm thankful I was born with brown skin & if I do choose to spend the day in the sun it just means I'll be needing 3 days inside the house. Which is fine now since the new job I just landed is located at home. Yep my new office is virtual thanks to AI. The Before & After Photoshop glow. I've had lowerback and those awful chest pain issues this week which has caused me to become weak, fatigued and pretty much useless so giving myself a much needed glow seemed like a good idea until mine returns.
