Took this pic last Saturday. Really happy with the progress I've been making over the last few weeks... Slowly chipping away, no crazy diets just eating well, training 3 times a week and staying active. Put my back out yesterday which will undoubtedly take a toll but the mindset is in the right place so... Keeping the diet balanced and resting up till I'm recovered and my body will reward me when I'm fit enough to train again. Injuries aren't the end of the road... Just the start of your comeback! Mentality is everything! This was from my run a couple of nights ago, when I was pumped about eating the veggies and being healthy and all things health. I've been such a yoyo on my health this week, one minute I'm all in, convinced myself to ditch the shit food and eat great, next thing you know i have a slice of pizza in my hand. What the hell is that all about? Usually for me the week before I get my period this is very usually behaviour. I've definitely done better than I do some weeks but still not where I want to be. I'm not beating myself up about it though, I'm back on today, cravings have substantially subsided and I'm about to do my workout. 🦄 . . . Being aware of what is going on with your body is so important, and to understand that your mindset can change so drastically in such a short amount of time so you can be ready for it is also important. These short workouts have definitely helped to make them a habit, eating hasn't been great but I havent missed a workout so I dont have anything to catch up with in that sense. Creating habits is essential, something as simple as getting up early and getting that workout in so you dont have to think about it for the rest of the day, so then you can focus on creating healthy habits for the rest of your day. 🍉 . . Pay attention to your body, think before you eat. I've definitely noticed I tend to eat shittier when I'm tired, or when something is bothering me. When you pay attention to that it's easier to make a change, you have something to work on. Instead of just beating yourself up for eating shit, ask yourself why, what was going on when that happened? Keep a journal if that helps. Talk to somebody about it. 🧡 . . Now I'm definitely not saying that you should let any of these reasons be an excuse to let you eat shit. PMS definitely isnt a hall pass to eat crap all week, but I've recognized it as something I need to get better at, and if I keep working at it and become more consistent with my healthy eating it will eventually be less of a issue. So pay attention to your body, and figure out where you can make changes so you make eating healthy a habit!🌼🌼 . . .

Pregnancy progress pic ;) Not pregnant (left) and around when I finished my first round of LIIFT4—> Almost 7 months pregnant and one week before finishing my THIRD round of LIIFT4! It’s funny cuz I don’t have much of a baby belly, but I’m pretty much just thickening all around to compensate 😂😜 The workouts have definitely felt a little different this time through! It’s amazing to feel and watch my body change and to be able to stay consistent with exercise throughout it all. It’s amazing what our bodies can do! Today’s a rest day, so I’m just chillin’ and feeling the soreness from yesterday’s workout. I always try to do something semi-active even on rest days just to make sure my muscles are able to loosen up and recover, so today I took my dog for a walk and called it good. I love the flexibility that LIIFT4 allows, and you really can’t be the luxury of 3 rest days! #liift4 #fitmama
