This has to do with the coach to student relationship as well as, and maybe even more importantly, the relationships one has external to the goals. This is discussed in the emails focused upon that subject. The second is taking action. This has to do with the ownership and responsibility the individual exercises. Much of this is covered in the emails related to the body and the mind. The third is resourcefulness. I said no to macros, and yes to memories. ♥️ . . Hey there, yes I'm alive and well. Been hustling my way through all the changes in my life. They have beautiful and scary, but all I know is that this is a path I'm taking with God by my side. So as you see by the top title, I don't count macros anymore. I actually don't involve my life around fitness 24/7 either. Now before you think I'm a "quitter" I actually am so much stronger than ever before. There is nothing wrong with macros. In fact, they taught me alot about nutrition and how the body works, but I realized I didn't want to do them forever. I wanted to make memories and live my life without the fear of missing my numbers. What happened when I let go of this? Freedom, happiness, life, and perspective. I realized I could listen to my body and BE OK. I realized I can be healthy and fit without counting numbers. I realized I can be me. . As you know, I was coaching about about macros because I wanted to reach what I was preaching...well I'm no longer preaching that. I'm doing so much more, and that is showing women how to become the most confident version of themselves, and to live who they are. To learn about Nutrition, movement, and self-love. To understand that working on you is important, and that you are amazing the way you are ♥️ This is what I preach now. . As for other exciting news, well Brandon and I are settled in our home. I'm getting back into my art and love it. I'll be building my blog/website soon to share all my favs with you all, from fitness, food, mental health, and self love ♥️ . Stay tuned. It's a slow process, but it's worth it. 😊

There are two kinds of therapy for any health condition: passive and active. Passive treatments include things done to you: chiropractics, surgery, medication, sedation, restraint, etc. Active treatments include things you do: talk, physical action, new behaviors, training, nutrition, relocation, etc. When it comes to the brain, I don’t think anyone really has it all figured out. But what I do know, from talking with many people and constantly working on myself, is that both methods of treatment have their place and purpose, and both are very complicated and require active participation by the one being treated. When it comes to mental health, everybody is struggling with something, some people more than others, and others not as much as those. Then we get into diagnosed conditions: Autism, ADHD, bipolar, depression, anxiety, and many others, and many subsets of each. Different areas of the brain are affected differently, from the forebrain’s cerebral cortex and prefrontal cortex to the occipital, parietal, and temporal lobes. But mostly through being human and relating to other humans. What was the most fascinating, and frustrating, is that the deeper I got into my studies, the deeper the rabbit hole went, physiologically, philosophically, and theologically. The one major takeaway: physical action of the body and reshape the brain and thus rewire the mind for better or for worse. Want to make a condition worse?
