Last session for the bulk 🥺 did a bit of everything today. 100kg x 6 on bench, 44kg x 6 on incline chest, 32kg x 8 shoulder press, then finished off with 8 pull ups pretty happy with that as I weigh 107kg 😅 also all of these where recorded on the last set, so I was buckled. #maximumgym247

Ok so there’s two things I want to say in this post tonight. The first is - I’m not competing in November in the Sac show like I had hoped. I won’t be ready for my division I want to be in - and I need more time. That said - in the meantime - I’m building more muscle and have my sights set on mid - next year. It was a disappointment that I had to get over, but my foot isn’t off the gas. Every morning I step in @ironaddiction at 5:20 am knowing when my body is the best it can be - I’ll step on that stage. That’s life. We make plans - and God laughs. That said - the second thing is that for the past while, I’ve been working on another goal - getting my personal trainer certification- which I just received yesterday from @issaonline - with a 91% passing grade. They said in my letter that I put forth a tremendous understanding of the material - especially in the case studies. It was months of studying and hard work - but it paid off. I’m ecstatic at being certified which has helped me gain a better understanding of my own workouts and progress and how I can help others. None of this would have been possible without @ironaddiction @trishisfit @jimmyjoe822 who have always believed in me and continue to be the best trainers I have ever known. This also includes all my workout beauties who also inspire and motivate me every day @estela4143 @iamshesheiam @sborchin @tlbstrongifbbpro @kbow_fit and so many others who are a part of team @ironaddiction ! 💪This proves to never give up on your dreams, put in the effort and hard work and you can accomplish anything! Tu t’es sûrement déjà demandé « comment avoir des résultats sans se restreindre et se frustrer au niveau de ton alimentation? » Et bien en faite c’est assez simple! Écoutes bien 🤓 . Quand tu bouges, quand tu travail, quand tu dors,... tu dépenses de l’énergie, des CALORIES. Ce qui nous donne le DEJ (dépense énergétique journalière), en gros c’est le nombre de calories que tu brûles en une journée et donc c’est sur cette donnée là qu’il va falloir travailler. Si tu veux maintenir ton poids il faudra manger exactement ce que tu dépenses, si tu veux prendre du poids tu manges plus et inversement si tu veux perdre. Pour te donner un exemple, un homme brûle en moyenne 2000Kcal/jour donc il devra manger 2000Kcal s’il veut maintenir son poids. Mais, il ne faut pas manger 2000Kcal de n’importe quoi! Ces calories, on va les repartir dans 3 catégories: les Macronutriments. D’abord tu as les glucides, tu peux compter 50% de ton apport journalier (1000Kcal) Ensuite tu as les protéines, qui doivent composer entre 20 et 30% ton alimentation. Et enfin les lipides, de même que pour les protéines. Si tu as cette répartition là dans ton alimentation tu devrais pouvoir manger ce qu’il te plaît tout en ayant les résultats souhaités car dans les glucides tu peux mettre en quelques sortes quasiment ce que tu veux, n’oublie pas quand même qu’il faut apporter de bons micro nutriments à ton corps donc ne manges pas que du sucre 🍭 .
