2019, man this was a year✨⁣ ⁣ As I sit back & reflect on this year, I can honestly say that where I am right now was never even on the radar come January 1st, 2019🤯⁣ ⁣ Funny how God has his own plans for all of us, no matter how much we like to think we know exactly where we will be😅⁣ ⁣ In 2019, I…⁣ ⁣ 🥂Re-created my online health and fitness coaching business, became my own boss & found my true passion in helping women transform their lives⁣ ⁣ 🥂Ran 2 extremely successful 8 week challenges & found my official challenge brand name “Fearless for Her”⁣ ⁣ 🥂Got to serve over 48 women between my 1:1 coaching & challenges⁣ ⁣ 🥂Traveled to AZ, CO, IA & TX⁣ ⁣ 🥂Left my full time job in August & got a part time job coaching pre-school kids motor development skills, sports, muscle groups & basic nutrition⁣ ⠀⠀ 🥂Got asked to be in TWO of my best friends weddings ⁣ 🥂Began serving in the nursery/pre-K rooms at church⁣ ⁣ 🥂Got to show my parents around our home in FL 🥂Saw a functional medicine doctor to begin healing my body from the inside out, came of the BC pill & began focusing on more natural skin care/makeup/cleaning products⁣ ⁣ 🥂Invested in my business more than once & had the most incredible experience in @michellehartzman Brave & Fierce Mastermind⁣ ⁣ 🥂Met absolutely INCREDIBLE women & men through church & the online fitness/coaching space that have have helped me to become a better version of myself, and Lyle and I planted some roots in south Florida⁣ ⁣ 🥂Was asked to be apart of a life-changing bible study at our church⁣ ⁣ 🥂Got baptized as an adult & re-committed my life to Christ⁣ ⁣ 🥂Will be celebrating Lyle & I’s 2 year anniversary this weekend⁣ ⁣ I have written out all the things I hope to accomplish in 2020, but in the end, God’s storyline for me will prevail, as always. Time for some real talk by the personal trainer and fitness coach in me. . I've seen this quote thrown around a lot lately, and I always think to myself... what about the workout I injured myself on? Wasnt that a bad workout? . Here's the thing. You arent supposed to be doing 2 a days every day. Even professional athletes should be moderating themselves. If not taking a day off, taking active recovery days. . Now, everyone's fitness plans are different. I personally rarely take a day off, but I do have days where its light flexibility, physio exercises and warm baths. I consider this part of my workout routine. But is it really considered a "workout"? Maybe not. But its better then pushing myself too hard and getting injured. . Fluke injuries happen. But there are also a lot of ways to prevent injuries, and one of the ways to do this is to adequately rest and recover. Maybe working out for the 15th day in a row is actually a bad workout. .
