Sweaty AF 💦 Post my favorite workout of the moment @tracyandersonmethod I 👀 you @tatianachahine . ✖️If you have been following my #workoutwednesday classes you have seen my obsession with #tracyandersonmethod and today I finally got to workout in studio 💪🏼 And it was absolutely amazing, the experience was super different since the room is heated. ✖️Training with heat and humidity has numerous benefits . ✖️With sweat the body releases toxins and improves tone and elasticity. The heat. For its part, it keeps the muscles warm, ready to move and much more malleable! . ✖️Will def be visiting the studio a lot more now 🙌🏼

This lemonade 🍋 energy is what gets me goin⠀ • ⠀ • ⠀ Guys, I LOVE this stuff. Sometimes it’s what gets me out of bed in the mornings 😂⠀ ⠀ Caffeine is something I’ve relied on for a long long time to wake me up and allow me to be my cheery & happy self.⠀ ⠀ This goodness🥤 is pretty much the only thing that doesn’t make me jittery anymore. It’s made from all natural ingredients and gets its source of caffeine from green tea leaves 🍃 Coffee makes me feel anxious (but it tastes soooo good) & this doesn’t at all. ⠀ • ⠀ • ⠀ Who else is a caffeine queen??

This tough mama of 2 and I have been working together for a little under a year now and she has turned into an absolute machine. She never complains and is always up for the challenge. Bravo Maria!

Having worked on her agility, speed and endurance...now we add strength to the equation. Happy to hear that this 15 year old is impressing her coaches with how fast and strong she is against athletes twice her size and older. Great job Tyler!

I will never forget the day I picked up a box of groceries and it was magically lighter. This was the first time I had tangible direct evidence that I was stronger. At only a few months into an intelligent strength program, this would be one of many such experiences over the course of the next few years. The more I learned and the stronger I got the more I wanted others to get it too! I did not grow up as an athlete. Doors used to be heavy, stairs used to wind me, my lower back was constantly achy... strength has changed the game. All it took was patience and consistent intentional work. Anyone can get stronger. It does not matter how smart, old, young, gifted, or otherwise, you may be. Strength makes everything better. It makes you look better, move better, eat more, jump higher. Those who start today will be a month ahead of those who start in January. Give the gift of strength this holiday season, to a loved one or yourself. 📸 @melissa.ferguson

But, there’s a

I’m going to be 52 and still killing it in the gym👊🏻 But, there’s a secret to training and getting the best results as we age🤗. ⠀ ⠀ Here’s my top 5 tips for training as we enter our “golden years”😜. #fitover50 ⠀ ⠀ 1️⃣ FOCUS ON THE PROCESS- You can still see amazing results in your 50’s but it’s an over all healthy lifestyle that’s bringing it. The days of quick fixes, easy fat loss or quickly building muscle are gone. Hunker down for the long haul. Consistency and lifestyle are🗝.⠀ 2️⃣ FOCUS ON HOW YOU FEEL- although we like to think all our workouts should just get better and we should be stronger day in and day out, it’s just not possible at this point. That doesn’t mean your workouts are a waste, it means you need listen to your body. You’ll have more ups and downs as opposed to just ups. Some days you feel like a rock ⭐️ and others like 💩. Listen to your bod and honor it. ⠀ 3️⃣ LIFT LIGHTER- News ⚡️now is NOT the time for consistently lifting overly heavy. Instead, focus on VOLUME and muscular contraction(feeling that muscle work). That doesn’t mean you can’t lift challenging or get stronger, it’s shifting your focus to lighter weight with moderate/higher volume training. Better for your joints and injury prevention.⠀ 4️⃣ DONT GET HURT- recovery over 50 is a bitch...nothing will slow you down faster. There’s no need to be the strongest, fastest person in the gym. Let the ego go and take care of your body. You need to be consistent to make progress and if you’re injured it ain’t gunna happen.⠀ 5️⃣RECOVER LIKE A ROCK STAR- at this point recovery isn’t an after thought, it’s part of the program. Training is only 1 part of your over all fitness, recovery is the other. Massages, Chiro, mobility, stretching, taking days off should NOT be skipped. ⠀ ⠀ Who else is over 50 and killing it⁉️ I want to know who you are🤩⠀ ⠀ #over50fitness #trainsmarter #aginginreverse #ageisjustanumber #fitatanyage #fitnesstips #matureathlete #injuryprevention #fitnessgoals #fitnesstraining #livehealthier #consistencyiskey #fitnesslifestyles #fitnesswomen #agegracefully #mastersathlete #fitpro #handstands

Hello!! Firstly, shoutout to @president_kc for teaching to to pose like this so my legs look long 😇. . . Secondly, wanted to share/record where my #fitnessjourney is at right now: highs and lows. Trips to the gym have been low at only 2 times week, which makes me stressed but my schoolwork makes me more stressed so it wins out 😞. Next week is FINALZ 😵 but honestly I think I’ll be able to work out more finals week because I don’t have class, even the thought of getting to work out every day again is making me so excited !!! . . . A high is that my lower body strength has been at an all time high! 🥳 my squats are consistently at 85lb and my deadlifts are at 95lbs ✨. This may not seem much to all of you, but to me, 95 pounds would have seemed like an impossible weight earlier this year. Being a rather small kid throughout most of my life I never though I would be able to lift this much I’m quite excited! Reaching PRs motivates me to work even harder in 2020. I AM GOING TO SAY IT : although I have so much left to improve, I am very proud of myself. What has been making you proud lately? . . . . . . . . . . . . #fitstudent #fitnessmotivation #fitnessjourney #mentalhealth #health #fitnesslife #fitnessgoals #fitnessinspiration #fitspiration #fitspo #fitfam #fitnessgirl #fitnessgirls #fitnesswomen #fitnesslover #fitnesstips #studentfitness #fitnessquote #fitnessgoal #selflove

💥no te rindas!💥 . 😉🙌 . . #motivation #dontgiveup #loveyourbody
