This year has been pretty rough for me and Ive had a few changes in my gut. . As you may know, a few weeks back I had to have "top & tail" scopes. Thankfully, they all came back clear. YAY! . On the downside, it has meant going back to basics with my diet, and I’m currently doing a combined low FODMAP and Failsafe diet. If you haven’t done this, all I can say is that its pretty brutal. For this hot pot you will need: - 2x tins of chopped tomatoes🍅. - 2x tins of coconut milk 🥥. - 2x tins of green lentils (soaked in water) 🌰. - Turmeric, cumin and choriander to season. - Rice and/or kale to serve. . #brunch (Invite) My birthday weekend started with a lovely brunch at @hemsleyselfridges with @myglutenfreeguide and @gfree_emily The menu at Hemsley and Hemsley is 100% gluten free which is always a good start!! I had the coconut and blueberry pancakes topped with maple butter, and I added bacon on the side. To drink I had a almond milk flat white and a @labrewery citrus kombucha. The cafe provides a haven from the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street.

I love that they are in season right now and a great price as one fruit will do several meals. #Pomegranate is part of the Fructans grouping of #fodmap food.* The guide I use advises that a small portion (38g) is fine. I also add strawberries 🍓 so the porridge is sweetened by natural sugar, no need to add more sugar! . . . But as vegans with digestive issues, many often think it means having to sacrifice the cheese-laden, gluten-infused delicious digestive nightmare that is one of our (let’s face it) favourite Italian meals. 👎⁠⠀ ⁠⠀ Well think again!
