“You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have” . . . . Yesterday was leg day and that means not an easy one at all! This video shows my last set of 4 reps at 210kg! I actually managed to performed 2 sets at 220kg but I didn’t record it 😅 I’m happy anyway: I improved my strength by 40kg in 6weeks time (including 1week of total rest). I can’t squat for the moment but I’m still pushing 💪 . . . Thanks to @coach.pit for 🎥 and for pushing me on my last rep 😂 Ps. low quality photo but a high quality... idk I can’t think of anything lol. Anyways I’ve been taking a break from lifting heavy since April/May. For the last month or two, I’m finally back into it and I realize why I fell in love with it in the first place. I did 305 for hip thrusts the other day and MY BOOTY WAS ON FIRE 🔥 I was like... damn bish I’m strong. My rep range is still 8-10, so I’m not technically heavy lifting. I will go into heavier sets and do 3-5. Buuuut im not training for max strength currently, which is what I was doing before. Remember to keep a positive mind & listen to your body when it comes to exercise & commitment. Getting right back at it with a major glute firing workout plan⚡️🍑 . PLAN•COMMIT•SWEAT! __________ 1. 3x15 each leg | took this stance a little further today which then fired up my back quad as well! Be sure to keep your back at a slight straight angle. 2. 4x12 | SUPERSET the next two exercises. With the bridge you can always lift your toes for more work to be added to your hamstrings! 3. 3x15 | really brings your legs as close to your body as possible to make sure you’re challenging your glutes as much as you can! The most work will be loaded onto your glutes when you are bent at >90 degrees to 90 degrees with the knees. 4. 4x12 | a major hammy killer!!! Posture is key in this exercise! I wouldn't recommended to someone staring out until a few weeks in because if done incorrectly you can hurt your back⚠️⁠ .⁠ 🔺Action: 1️⃣ Place your feet at hip width while maintaining a neutral back and knees slightly bent. 2️⃣ Grab the barbell and place the bar behind your neck. 3️⃣ Move your torso towards your hips and back to starting position. 4️⃣ Repeat this motion for the prescribed amount of reps.🔺⁠ .⁠ 🆘 Remember to keep your back neutral.
