🎶 “I am changing. Trying every way I can. I am changing. I'll be better than I am.” This is my mantra every morning. As part of my daily prayer I ask God to allow me, in some way, to become better than I was the day before. It is a quest that can be frustrating when changes are so subtle they are easily missed or seem to not be enough for the effort you put in. However, I am grateful that it is a prayer request that has been answered. I am not the same! I am transforming mind, body, and spirit for the better. I can’t lie, the heat that comes with the fire of being refined is scorching hot. But I love who I am today and for all that is as taken to get here (and evening wishing I were further along) I wouldn’t trade a single second of this life. I am mentally stronger, physically fitter, and emotionally whole. What could be better than that?! It is my prayer that you experience the same and more! Do yourself a favor and dig a little deeper and challenge yourself to go a little harder to finish this year strong! 💪🏾

Being a trainer I more often than not get the “You must really watch what you eat all the time.” There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that! 😒 - That’s partially true though, but there’s two parts to it. One is where I REALLY dial in on measuring absolutely everything I can day to day and week to week. The other is where I control my portions (not scale measured) based off what I learned in measuring everything in grams and ounces on a food scale. ⚖️ - The true objective to counting Macros is to focus on a specific physical goal. To reach it based off of a scientific approach of calories in and calories out. You might think they are full of gym bunnies sipping protein shakes - but the reality of it actually is, gyms are full of the general population just trying to get on top of their health.
