Sometimes rest day consists of not changing out of my pajamas all day. However, some rest days consist of bundling up to go out into 20 degree (real feel in the teens) weather for a nature hike with Will. Living in Wisconsin has plenty of perks, but during the Winter it can be easy to get a little down with our lack of sunshine and bitterly cold temperatures. Moving my body even on a rest day does wonders for my mood. This is part of why I’ll a l w a y s remain active in my life.

Hey everyone!! 👋 I've been slacking with posts the past few days as I've been super busy balancing multiple jobs & just typical life obstacles!! But everyday I've still been doing my workouts regardless of my schedule 💪 Today was.. ✳️Workout #22 - Upbeat Strength✳️ 🔹I love this workout because it really does make my whole upper half sore as hell!!! Day 21 - 21DFX real-time “Cardio Fix Extreme”👊✅ not feeling well so I pushed even harder to hopefully sweat whatever is trying to catch me out! Proud of myself for completing the last 21 days, I wanted to quit many times the last 3 weeks, but I made a commitment to a friend and to myself to finish...so I did! Beginning tomorrow is Transform 20! New goals and new commitment! I will print a calendar today and dust off my step. Goals for 6 weeks: 1. No caffeine (I’ve become hooked on morning sweet coffees from the coffee shop) 2. No ice cream (no longer a problem...but always safe to write down! lol) 3. No chocolate (always triggers cravings for more unhealthy foods) 4. Listen to at least 1 audiobook every 2 weeks (self help or a just for fun book) 5. Shakeology 6 days a week as a meal replacement. Bonus Goal...I hope to transform my night time eating, one evening at a time. This year I enrolled her into Sunday school so she could learn more about Jesus— little did I know this little girl would tell me she doesn’t want to go to Sunday School because she’ll miss church. ❤️ That is something I’ve wanted for her. For her to seek to know and learn more. To enjoy going instead of being forced to go. Compromise... Mass Saturday and Sunday school on Sunday 🙏🏻 If something is important don’t want. Feels good to move my body this morning 😊💪🏻🙌🏻! . I actually woke up before my alarm went off and made myself get out of bed 😜👊🏻. After taking 2 days off because of my cold, I feel great today getting some exercise in before work 😊❤️. . How many of you get sick and use that as an excuse to stop altogether? You either quit and start something else new later on or you “start over” as so many people say after quitting something. You develop habits that prevent you from making time for your workout....Guess what!?! Life happens. We deal with things and then we move on. . Instead of quitting or starting over because I was sick, I’m picking up right where I left off. Today’s workout was Day 5, not Day 1 and I’m not quitting till I make it to Day 21/21 😊💪🏻! My journey is not about being perfect, it’s about finishing what I started.
